Stockholm, Sweden is a city that has many beautiful sites to explore. It is a city in which you will never grow bored of because you will always have something to do and somewhere to be.

The busiest part of the city it T-Centralen and is the downtown area of the city. From this place you can have the choice of walking beside the waterfront to Djurgarden. This is a beautiful island that is perfect for family picnics. Also check out Skansen and Grona Lund.

The most elegant part of the town is Ostermalm. Here you can see the historical culture of past days and the beautiful architecture. From here you can make your way through Kungstradgarden – or the King’s Garden – and walk across the bridge to little Skeppsholmen.

Another great place to visit is Sodermalm. During the late 1800’s this part of Stockholm was the home to its working class. The workers would come home from the ships and stop at some of the local taverns for a drink. This image has been preserved after all of these years. You can take a look and stop in at the many pubs and cafes. There are also many stores that sell designer products.

And of course the trip would not be complete if you did not visit Kungliga Slottet. This is the Stockholm Royal Palace and was where the King of Sweden lives. It was first built in the 13th century and is in the Old Town. The newer palace was built from 1697 – 1754 in Roman Baroque style. It has more than 600 rooms and is one of largest castles in Europe. Inside there are many different museums in which you can soak in the historical culture.
